Review of Don Hoppe's "Ebay Arbitrage -- The Complete Guide to Flipping"
Simply put, arbitrage means to buy low and sell high. I explain
some ways I use eBay arbitrage to buy antiques and collectibles in Profiting From eBay Arbitrage
But. . . If you aren't knowledgeable about specific types of
antiques and collectibles my methods won't work for you.
You see, the ways I cover rely on knowledge. You need to know what things will sell for in order
to identify them. For collectors and dealers of antiques my
methods work fine. Without the knowledge, you are out of luck.
Or rather, you used to be. . .
Don Hoppe recently contacted me about his eBay arbitrage
system. Don calls his method eBay Arbitrage -- The Complete Guide to Flipping, and does it a little different. He doesn't start with
knowledge about specific items, instead he looks for items that
match a list of identifiers he has found.
Once he finds these clues, he checks eBay to see what similar
items are selling for and if he sees an opportunity for profit,
he sets a snipe bid up and moves on.
Now, you have probably heard about looking for misspelled words in auction titles
as a way to spot great deals and make some quick profits.
Misspellings are a way to find items, but Don has seven other
clues you should look for.
Clues very few people know about. Looking over Don's clues, these
are almost always factors in my arbitrage purchases. The only
factor Don hasn't listed as a clue is when the seller just
doesn't know what he's got.
But then again, this isn't about using knowledge. This is
something someone with little or no knowledge can do.
Anyway, Don has decided to go beyond being just an eBay seller,
and has put together a report called Ebay Arbitrage -- The Complete Guide to Flipping. The report outlines the steps he takes to find
and buy items on eBay for resale.
If you are a collector or dealer and have specialized knowledge,
Don's eBay Arbitrage strategies will also work for you.
I really like this book.
In fact, I did an eBay Mastermind Interview with Don where we covered his eBay Arbitrage methods and compared them to mine. When you buy Ebay Arbitrage -- The Complete Guide to Flipping, Don will also give you a transcript of the interview.
Don's book is priced so you can make back your investment with just one
or two purchases.

PPS If you've skimmed down here without reading the rest, this
article introduces you to Don Hoppe's method of finding items on
eBay he can resell. Don has identified 8 clues that point to
items that may sell cheap enough to buy and resell. You can find out
